I trained as a yoga teacher at Kripalu in 2000 and have taught in many places since then. I have been teaching a weekly Yoga as Mindful Movement class at the Monadnock Mindfulness Practice Center in Keene since 2010. It is a blend of my training in Kripalu yoga and Buddhist insight meditation. Classes are slow and meditative in nature, beginning with sitting meditation. Modifications are offered to help you create a practice that meets you where you are on any given day. Space is limited - it's a good idea to arrive a few minutes early.
Yoga mats & meditation cushions are available, or bring your own.
Fridays 5:00-6:15 pm by donation
103 Roxbury St., Suite 301
In addition, I teach yoga & meditation for local businesses, groups & organizations, currently teaching for the Phoenix House and Keene State College. I have also deeply enjoyed 3+ years teaching meditation and mindful movement to the inmates at the Cheshire County House of Corrections. As my schedule permits, I would be happy to talk with you about offering practices for your group, organization or special gathering.
While we are unable to gather at the center, yoga class is being offered via ZOOM live video conferencing.
Visit www.zoom.us & simply enter the class # 9789290406/password 970585 when you click "Join a Meeting". Depending on how many people would like to continue to make use of this format, I may continue to offer yoga via Zoom in addition to the in person Friday class, once we can resume in person classes again.
Please see the "Payment" tab for ways you can make a donation for yoga classes.
